A transparent, colorless liquid with a scent resembling alcohol. It has a flash point below 0°F and is lighter than water. Its vapors are denser than air and soluble in water. It causes moderate irritation to the eyes and skin, with prolonged or repeated exposure leading to skin defatting and dryness. Inhalation of vapors may irritate the nose, throat, and respiratory tract, and ingestion could be harmful.
