Naphthenic acid
Naphthenic acids (NAs) are complex mixtures of cyclopentyl and cyclohexyl carboxylic acids found in petroleum. They have molecular weights ranging from 120 to well over 700 atomic mass units. NAs are used in various applications, and their salts, called naphthenates, serve as hydrophobic sources of metal ions. We have a number of grades available from Naphthenic to different Zinc variants.
